Information technology's got decent humor and moves forth at a decent, if a bit slow, pace. I wouldn't say information technology's the greatest novel effectually, but it's an enjoyable read. I would not advise reading it if you're just looking for an OP MC to beat up the bad guys, every bit there'southward not a ton of gainsay, the near so far (chapter fourteen) being chapters thirteen-14. I also have to say that the combat itself is adequately sub-par, the writer is bad at showing the fight, rather than only telling us what happens. That being said, I don't experience the combat is supposed to be a major part of this novel and the author seems much improve at showing the relationships between the characters than the combat.
This is a laid back romance story between a human reincarnated as a demon and a noble lady. Don't expect incredible action or a fast pace plot. The characters have 'chuunibyou' fantasy abilities, but the writer uses them equally a humorous contrast to the relatively normal plot. This is a cute series near a budding romance. Information technology isn't especially exceptional, but if you're not expecting something like arifutera you may savour it.
Likewise, German and Japanese people are pretty aware of the atrocities of world war two and developed a strong aversion to some aggressive/militaristic views because of them.
This light novel is too... calorie-free. Information technology'south similar in that location is little substance. Setting is nice, I like information technology. But the way it's presented, it's just as well unproblematic and too hard to believe or become into. Besides, MC acts/thinks really unrealistically, hard to stomach that. Not my cup of tea, this is way as well shallow.
tbh i wouldn't be surprised if the author isn't fifty-fifty Japanese but simply knows the language. at ane point he says that he is worried well-nigh bad luck because a cat-eared person with blackness fur crossed his path.
if he was truly a Japanese person he would know that black cats are considered skillful luck in nippon. not to mention the MC'due south proper name is extremely john doe-ish and the proper noun doesn't fifty-fifty audio similar information technology was made up by a japanese person and more like a foreigner looked up japanese names and said "oh these two names sound proficient together and so ill just go with it".
Basically a Chuunibyou fantasy that I think was written by a 14-year-old. Nothing here stands out. The romance is haphazard, the exposition is half-assed, the story is very rushed and the characters are cardboard caricatures. Don't waste your time.
This series seem like one of those really kicking back and enjoy a little laid dorsum life of an OP main character that just wants to go out with a daughter.

Author bro, Japanese are famous for taking millions of Pw. A lot of them, died in strange countries since they piece of work all of their POW to their expiry. How nigh Nanking Massacre for the alternative? You know raping and killing civilians. Heck, the Japanese were buddies with Hitler. That was pretty... fudge up.
No, I don't detest the Japanese. It simply pisses me off when the Writer, either lack of history lesson, or pure self righteousness, trying to pull this kind of stunt. Then yeah, if you wanna give a moral high ground for your MC, you need to do a meliorate job.
Or maybe don't.
Damn the moral high ground.
Just be true to your writing.

Took me a full 30 minutes to read the whole volume ane. Still recollect it was a waste of my time. MC with no courage, cliche stock characters (only worse from usual), wearisome moving and almost not-existent plot, recycled world, what else, oh yes, just plain bad writing.
Dropped.
